The CMLTO is pleased to announce the publication of the 2019 Annual Report in English (PDF) and in French (PDF).
The report illustrates the CMLTO's key accomplishments in fulfilling its mission/mandate to protect the public's right to safe, high-quality health care through self-regulation and leadership of the medical laboratory technology profession.

The CMLTO Discipline Committee held a hearing in writing on July 30, 2020, to consider allegations of professional misconduct against member Luzviminda Torregosa, Registration number: 11483.

The CMLTO's virtual office will be closed on September 7, 2020, for the Labour Day statutory holiday. Regular virtual operations resume at 8:30 am on September 8th.
The CMLTO Consolidated Bylaws require all Practising MLTs to carry professional liability insurance (PLI) in all medical laboratory practice employment settings.
The College randomly selects members who are required to provide proof of PLI through an online annual audit.
The 2020 audit began online on August 17, 2020. Practising members selected for the audit were notified via email and are required to complete the PLI audit by September 17, 2020 at 11:59 pm EST.

CMLTO members eligible to vote in the election being held in District 4 (Central East Region) will be notified by email on August 21, 2020, and sent instructions for casting their votes electronically. Members who believe they are eligible to vote but do not receive a notification on the 21st, should email executiveoffice@cmlto.com
Members have until 11:59 pm on September 28, 2020 to vote.
