The College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario was established by the Government
of Ontario under the Regulated Health Professions Act of 1991, opening its doors in 1993-94 with
over 8,400 registered medical laboratory technologists (MLTs).
There are only 21 regulated health care colleges under
the Act. It is an honour and a responsibility to serve
Ontarian’s health care needs by ensuring the
integrity and quality of medical laboratory test results.
